SkillKnex policy

Copyright & Takedown Policy

How to report content on SkillKnex that infringes your intellectual property, and how we handle those reports.

Version 1.0 · June 2026

1. Our approach

SkillKnex Ltd respects intellectual property and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged infringement and remove or disable access to infringing content. This policy covers copyright and applies similarly to trademark and other IP complaints.

2. How to report infringement

If you believe content on SkillKnex infringes your rights, email our copyright and takedown contact at copyright@skillknex.com (copy legal@skillknex.com) with the following:

  1. your name, address, and contact details;
  2. identification of the work or right you say has been infringed;
  3. identification of the specific content on SkillKnex you say is infringing, and enough information for us to locate it (for example a link or the username and a description);
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf; and
  6. your electronic or physical signature.

Submitting a false or bad-faith notice may make you liable for damages. If you are not sure whether content infringes your rights, consider seeking legal advice first.

3. What we do

When we receive a valid notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content and notify the user who posted it, giving them the basis for the removal where we can. Removals follow our tiered moderation process.

4. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to copyright@skillknex.com including your contact details; identification of the content removed and where it appeared; a clear explanation of why you believe the removal was mistaken or why you had the right to use the material; and your signature. We may restore the content where appropriate and permitted.

5. Repeat infringers

We suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property.

6. In-app reporting

You can also flag content in the app using the report tools (including the "copyright" reason). For formal infringement notices, please use the email process above so we have the information we need to act.
